The work by Christman Co., Ideal Group, and other contractors includes fixing the steel structure and repairing eight acres of masonry. Ford is still on track to complete the station by the end of 2024. Formally dedicated on January 4, 1914, the station remained open for business until the cessation of Amtrak service on January 6, 1988.
