WebInverted forks in classic Triumph? Has anyone had any success finding a modern sport bike inverted front end that would fit into a classic Triumph neck? My 74 T150v is 99% done and should be wrapped up this week, but I'm already thinking about the winter project seeing how this riding season is almost over here in Boston. WebThat is not uncommon. And if my bike were swaying I wouldn't necessarily be blaming it on the front end, which brings me to another point, your front end. Spyke could never get their starters right, then they thought that a 15" over inverted front end, a) looked good & b) would work well. Neither worked out for them & their starter are still junk.

The inverted forks are heavier, which an old 750 is heavy enough, and will look really out of place. There was a guy on the SOHC forums that did a really nice job on his CB550 putting older R6 forks on and getting new brakes mounted.
